Feel free to log the bug, but here's the evaluation I've provided when 
similar requests were made for SXDE:

Our philosophy in the installer is strongly biased towards simplicity, 
in an effort to get people up and running as quickly as possible without 
excessive distraction by details.  The user account options we offer 
there are meant to essentially match the "Account" tab on the Users & 
Groups tool, feeling that's the required set.  Nothing else related to a 
user account should be "annoying to change later"; if they are, IMHO 
that's a bug in the Administration tools, not the installer, and that's 
where we need to address things.
