Hi Minskey,

thats great. I'm looking forward to joining you. This is yet another bold

+1

for your proposal.
My driver isn't working properly. I have to re-check all struct and function definitions and corresponding calls, and that takes time. My version is based on older (shorter/simpler) versions from 2005/2006 of the files which I got me with git's bisect command, from shared-core and in two cases (plain files, where not symlinks) from bsd-core, rather than from linux-core. Then I just adjusted everything to match your i915 DDI/DKI port.

Attention: I'm not at home until November 23rd or 24th. I'm connected via my hotel room's WiFi.
I'm CC'ing: this msg. to driver-discuss (this msg. is was posted through jive). I will contact you as soon as I'm back home and then send you my preliminary stuff.

Best regards,
Martin
