I agree. People who are already committed to Solaris, and expect  
different behavior can easily (and will take the effort to) make the  
modest change to get Solaris Classic behavior.

The vast majority of potentially incoming users will NOT make even a  
small effort to get what they think ought to be the default behavior.

Given all the discussion in various fora, I'm surprised that folks  
are surprised by this.
