A very desirable feature would be a ubuntu (fiesty) and windows (xp)
like completely silent graphical bootup, wiht opensolaris wide and
bright, with an optional progress bar , and optional console view if
required. Opensolaris would take anywhere from 30 to 100 seconds to
bootup and this logo would stand out. (I'm a big fan of Feisty's
ubuntu logo, BTW).
Perhaps this is what you meant by
