I know, I installed it, it fixed bugs I reported about 2 years ago.
But the keyboard layout emulation is still not working. When I select
something else that what is autodetected for my French my Type 6, the
result is a mess.

No, thank you. I filed many bugs and wasted a lot of time on
120410/120411 since they were introduced, and caused great grief to my
daily work. I know very much exactly how useless it is (and believe me,
my contact in the French Sun Support team was also quite desperate at
the total lack of interest of the escalation team).

However, I did receive some very valuable help from Sun people on the
I18N mailing list, in particular from the Sun Japan I18N team, which
eventually led to most of those bugs being fixed in the last weeks. I
appreciate that, so I'll happily provide any detail directly to you if
you're interested in fixing that keyboard layout issue.
