Good plan, thanks Darren! - having a quick debug of this (and thanks mainly due 
to jbeck), it looks like the persistent key isn't being stored properly. 
/etc/dladm/secobj.conf.new is being created, but not copied over to 
/etc/dladm/secobj.conf. I'm reliably told this is a known ZFS rename bug.

Hopefully the newer images, once released, will fix this.
