pkg install allows you to install any packages from the repositories. So 
the question is no so much what is on the CD,
but what will be there on the repositories. Having a slim CD allows 
curious on-looker to try it out, having a rich
repositories provide all the rich experience. A bit like carrying a 
credit card around, the higher credit limit you have,
the more you can buy :-)
