[indiana-discuss] Indiana supports only a single ZFS pool and single drive?

Hi all,
I was browsing the Indiana documentation (http://dlc.sun.com/osol/docs/content/IPS/limits.html), and came across the last limitation.
"The OpenSolaris OS has ZFS support only. The installation of the OpenSolaris OS supports only one pool on one disk."
Is this correct? If so, this seems like a bizarre limitation. This would seem to cripple most of the functionality of ZFS. I was under the impression (perhaps my mistake) that one of the goals of Indiana is to take the strengths of Solaris and add some of the strengths of Linux (distribution, packaging, some desktop stuff, etc.). ZFS is a great Solaris strength; why would you want to cripple it so that people cannot experiment with the technology?
Hopefully this limitation is planned to be removed by Opensolaris 2008.11? Please tell me this is the case.
Richard Bruce
