Hi,
I've installed 08.05 with compression (as indicated here:
http://blogs.sun.com/glagasse/entry/howto_enable_zfs_compression_when
but without the extra copies (I'm saving space) to a 4.6G virtualbox image.
Everything seemed to go swimmingly with the refresh, update of ipkg &
'entire' to release 86, but then took a turn south with my image-update:
se at mysql-opensolaris:~$ time pfexec pkg image-update

I tried to soldier on with a grub update:
