Hey Ron, thanks for the reply ... unfortunately, I don't seem to have svc:/application/x11/x11-server listed on my system, despite my having installed (I think) all relevant X11 packages through PackageManager:

# svcs *x11*
STATE          STIME    FMRI
disabled       15:56:52 svc:/application/x11/xvnc-inetd:default
online         19:15:27 svc:/application/x11/xfs:default

However ... 

# slocate manifest | grep xml | grep x11
/var/svc/manifest/application/x11/xvnc-inetd.xml
/var/svc/manifest/application/x11/x11-server.xml
/var/svc/manifest/application/x11/xfs.xml

# /lib/svc/method/manifest-import

# svcs *x11*
STATE          STIME    FMRI
disabled       15:56:52 svc:/application/x11/xvnc-inetd:default
online         19:15:27 svc:/application/x11/xfs:default

What is the appropriate way to install the correct manifest and any associated files?
