The most direct answer I can give to your question here is literally, "I
don't know". That's not meant to be evasive. The thing to understand
is that the expected Indiana release model is time-driven, rather than
feature-driven, and for the most part it will therefore be a snapshot at
a particular point in time of features coming from the communities
contributing to it. With both preview 1 and the forthcoming preview 2
we've spent a certain amount of time attempting to stabilize the release
so that it's more cohesive than just a bag of bits, but the general rule
is that if you pick a release date as your high-order bit, then the
feature set will be malleable. In the case of the wireless and WPA
functionality, the sooner it gets straightened out by the teams that own
it, the more likely it is to be in Indiana's next release. I sincerely
doubt we'd move the release schedule to accommodate them. It's not
quite such a big deal to make a given release when you can do more
granular updates in between with IPS, anyway.

Hopefully your buddies who threw in the towel on preview 1 will try
again in the future. It'd be a shame to judge Indiana by that preview
(or preview 2, for that matter ;-), as we're a lot closer to the
beginning than the end.

Dave
