Hi,

I have been trying to install the OpenSolaris Developer Preview (in particular, the DP2 preview) on VMware Fusion 1.1.1 on my MacBook.  Anyway, while I can get it to install, I keep running into a problem where I can't start X after installing VMware Tools.  A quick Google search came up with a thread in Ian installed OpenSolaris in VMware Fusion and got everything working (including VMware Tools).  Does anyone have any clue as to what the secret is here?

I tried the suggestions listed on that thread (editing the Xorg.conf to remove the problematic lines or even deleting it altogether), and Xorg still *will not start* after installing the VMware tools.  Do you know what I am doing wrong, or perhaps have a clear "how-to" to direct me as to how to install OpenSolaris DP on VMware Fusion with VMware Tools and everything working?

Just FYI - I am using the 32-bit OpenSolaris, as my MacBook is 32-bit only (it's the first generation MacBook).
