Agreed although I'm not changing this behavior - the current .bashrc
supplied also resets the PATH to the defined value.  The changed one
just fixes an issue with the supplied PATH to include the X11
components too.  I think this is something we should definitely look at
for the future but again, I don't see it as a must-fix for this second
prototype.
