[indiana-discuss] pkg status -a: no packages installed (was: Re: Indiana alive - dead or dying?)

Several users have reported that after performing a "pkg refresh", "pkg 
status -a" returns "no packages installed".  The catalog file under 
/var/pkg/catalog/opensolaris.org is 0 bytes in size after the "pkg refresh".

Perhaps this behavior is due to the issue John mentioned below.
