That is an interesting idea I toyed with the idea of calling bootadm as a final stage
'bootadm update-archive ' but decided against it since I do not  validate drives.

However, this was intended to be cross platform and while that might be desirable 
on Solaris or Open Solaris it would not work with Fedora, Ubuntu etc. That said, 
since python is so pliable a special occurrence item for Solaris would be easy to 
accommodate and may be worth doing simply to insure the end user experience 
is a positive one.
