The plan presented at the developer summit last fall was to use date names
instead of version numbers, though there was discussion about whether it
would be better for the date string to be "2008.05" or "05/08" (the first
being easier to sort correctly).
They also were talking about "Indiana" being only the code name for the
first release, with "Jericho" coming 6 months later, and something else
("Kalamazoo"? I don't remember) 6 months after that.
