I'll definitely check out the documentation you mentioned. With the
current installer is there a way to create an "extra" slice to reserve
some of a drive's space for a non-root pool? The only options I could
find were using the whole disk or creating multiple partitions. I
couldn't find a way to specify custom slice sizes. As I said in my
previous e-mail I tried using a second partition for the non-root pool,
but only ended up with a fraction of the space available.
