Alan,

Thanks for this information. It appears that *part* of the update procedure made it into the 2008.05 release notes, but not all. Specifically it's missing the mount line. The release notes I found are posted here:

I did a clean install of 2008.05 and attempted to upgrade, but obviously the update_grub line didn't work. Could you tell the maintainer of that web page to add the missing piece?
