There is always a way to customize the packages that will be installed.  This just impresses me an example of the extensiveness (& power) of IPS.

Furthermore, there is a lot more in OpenSolaris 2008.05 than meets the eye.  For example, an ordinary end user can become an instant "expert" and begin to make a great deal out of the advantages of zfs in less than five minutes.  And s/he doesn't even need a GUI tool to do that.
