[indiana-discuss] Failure to install RC2a IBM x40

I get the same error while installing Indiana from the LiveCD.
Setting (1)
The installer stopped at 28% giving the '/a/./.livecd' error.
Setting (2)
I also tried installing it within a 20GB and 4GB partition at the beginning of the hard disk. Both attempts failed too. I did all this on a Lenovo 3000 N100, 2GB RAM, and a 100GB hard disk. The latter was partitioned as follows:
sda1: Windows Vista
sda2: Ubuntu 8.04
sda3: Linux Swap
sda4: Solaris
The Solaris partition was initially created between Windows and Ubuntu (setting (1)). For Setting (2) it was moved at the very beginning of the HDD. But it always was sda4. All partitions were primary ones.

Any help and suggestions are more than welcome. I would really like to get Indiana out of the virtual machine it currently runs on.
