[indiana-discuss] no shutdown on Asus F3t laptop

Similar problem with Shutdown.

I recently installed opensolaris only 2 days back. I did not have any problem when I restarted the PC. But when I shutdown (which I have done 2 times in the past two days) the screen just hangs with few messages on the console. The last message reads (not exact words):

Syncing filesystem... [done]

There is no hard drive access and the fan keeps running fast.

I am having a Dell Dimension 3000 PC that has an Intel Pentium 4 with HT.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
