You might be hitting one the issues mentioned in release notes:

The symptoms seem to be similar to the ones described in 6690194

In order to be able to better determine why your installation
failed and find out appropriate work around, could you please
provide following information ?
[1] full partition configuration reported by Linux or Solaris fdisk commands
for both cases
* for Linux
# fdisk -l <device_name>
* for Solaris
# fdisk -W - <device_name>p0
[2] Invoke installer from terminal in debug mode and please
attach full /tmp/install_log file after installer fails.
$ export LS_DBG_LVL=4
$ pfexec /usr/bin/gui-install
