Hi Stephen. Thanks for the info, but I don't think this is a timeout issue since all of the packages are downloaded and installed by the time that I see the error message. FYI, the install process seems to have finished (or, mostly finished) when I see the message, because I've been able to boot into the updated environment. There are still some pool cleanup issues that I'm working out (I don't fully understand some of the clone/dependency relationships) but otherwise things seem ok..

Where would I find the "traceback" for this process? I ran the install with the -v flag, but that didn't produce anything more useful than the 1-line message I mentioned.
