Hey,

Just found a couple of interesting links on a read through lwn.net this week -

   http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Board/Meetings/2008-03-11

which details out a few interesting items which I thought I'd pass on -

1) Addition of Fedora branded Google start page

Unfortunately it looks like the lawyers didn't allow this one

https://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-advisory-board/2008-March/msg00071.html

I wonder if we would be any different? I suspect not, given Sun's
relationship to OpenSolaris being very similar to Fedora and Red
    Hat

2) Codeina

Looks like they've also dropped support for the pointers to non-free
codecs. We probably need to figure out how we stand on that front.

3) Spins

    http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/RahulSundaram/SpinsProcess

has an interesting proposal in terms of formal endorsement of distribution
spins, or derivatives. Since it's likely we'll go down that way at some
stage in the future, it might be interesting to start thinking about it
now. Most of this is likely due to the trademark restrictions (which we
have similar issues with), and closely ties in with the discussion on
    trademark-dev-discuss.
