Speaking of which, I just recieved my
SolarisExpress Developer Edition dvd in the mail.
I'm at a crossroads where I'd really like to install this (Solaris) for
real on a 64 bit intel box.
The crossroads is either SolarisExpress or Indiana. I've tried Indiana
in a vm, but was unsucessful.
My question is for "prime time" is one better than the other? I imagine
they are close to the same code base....
Also, will there be a migration path from SolarisExpress to Indiana?
...And I imagine I could install SolarisExpress then Gnome from
BlastWave and get close to the same experience.
If you guys are going to be at the OpenSource conference the day before
JavaOne, I'll be sure to grill you in person;)
Thanks for any info.... Even if you say "patience grasshopper, Indiana
will be ready in a month". ;)
