Oops, forgot to send this on last week. (Remembered as I remembered
I'm late on getting out this week's updated.)

Nevada build 86 (X packages available for testing now) will have:
- X11R7/open-source/redistributable versions of:
libXt
libXext
libXevie
libXscrnsaver
xlogo
This should complete the most needed X11 libraries, making the
Nevada ones redistributable & the FOX ones using the same sources,
and ensure binary compatibility between Solaris & Indiana.
The only X11 libraries that are not yet in sync with the FOX gate/X11R7,
and thus not yet cleared for redistribution, as of build 86 are:
libFS - client library for X font server protocol
libXIE - obsolete X Image Extension library
libXaw - ancient Athena Widgets toolkit
libXinput - obsolete previous version of libXi
libXp - X Print extension library
libXtsol - Solaris Trusted Extensions X extension
libdga - Xsun Direct Graphics Access extension
libdps/libdpstk/libdpstkXm/libpsres - Xsun Display Postscript extension
libowconfig - Xsun OWconfig configuration file parsing/editing
libxrx - "Broadway" extension for embedding X apps in web pages
These are not widely used, and many are probably redistributable given
some quick investigation to make sure they have nothing beyond the old
X11R6 sources with Sun's bug fixes. The only one I think JDS uses is
libXtsol, which Sun has released as open source, so we already know is
redistributable. Thus I think JDS should be able to build on nv_86 X
packages for deliveries to both Nevada & Indiana, no longer needing a
separate FOX-based build environment for Indiana.
- Updates to X consolidation SVR4 package Copyright files to incorporate
license data from the components for which a license file is included
in the upstream distribution. (i.e. some, but not all - many have
a placeholder notice saying "See the individual source files for
license terms".)
- Updated versions of several existing packages:
- 6671784 Upgrade libXrender from 0.9.2 to 0.9.4
- 6673045 upgrade xf86-video-nv to 2.1.8 (adds GeForce 9600 GT support)
- 6673505 Update deja vu fonts to 2.24
- 6476054 Upgrade fontconfig to 2.5.0
- Some bonus glitzy OpenGL screensavers we picked out during the CoolStart
project, but hadn't gotten around to integrating until now

What's next:
- Determining redistributability of remaining components
- Providing updated information about which X packages can be taken
directly from Nevada (either in whole or in part) for nv_85, and
possibly doing so under the new package names we've discussed.
