I agree it is likely to change. I was thinking more along the lines that we had an approach to go from DP1 to DP2 and likely to an upcoming Indiana 1.0. It was probably more about the approach of zfs cloning and ipkg than necessarily the specific upgrade process. This is just "different" than the LiveUpgrade approach of the past. I think I also saw another project that was looking to formalize the approach in a utility (other than IpkgTool).
Perhaps a couple of other topics:
- Installing and configuring the development suite of your choice:
- Sun Studio 11
- GNU suite with GCC
- Creating Zones
- Native zones
- Linux Brand zones
