On this particular matter (suggesting a better IM activation default), I think we should try to get Sun's ERI team more actively (& collectively) involved.  The greater China market will be one of the biggest beneficiaries of the Indiana LiveCD.  Heretofore, ostensibly b/c of installation and downloading problems, I have not heard many talks about Solaris or OpenSolaris, although there are a lot of interests in ZFS and DTrace (& everyone is waiting for something to happen).
