[indiana-discuss] Package Manager + http proxy ?

Can the GUI package manager that comes with 0805rc2a.iso utilize a http proxy? 

If so, how do I configure it? 

My first guess was that the gnome "network proxy" preference would control this. However after configuring my http proxy therein i am still unable to install a new package.  The tool itself seems to have no place to configure a proxy.

Anyone know?
