I've got no idea why the schedule was short, since the Community was not
involved in this choice.
I can't say either why the Community must contribute to Sun's own distro
so it supports Sun's hardware for something that Sun has managed to do
for years on Sun's Solaris.
Obviously, for some reason, the current Solaris users are not part of
the anticipated audience.

I'm really more and more puzzled about the answers I'm getting; and
what's the point of all this. Hopefully, we'll get some official
explanations soon to tell us what is the actual use for this pretty and
shiny new toy.
