Keep in mind that there are 1,800 software packages in SVR4 format and
you can install them just fine. Or at least you should be able to
install them just fine if the ABI still holds true.

The repo at blastwave.network.com:10000 has issues and seems to be
stuck with a report of 49 packages there even though the list is
clearly 1200+ long.

This repo will not be ready to go without some effort and work in the
conversion process.
No promise at all that what you see there works at the moment. You can
install things like GCC 4 and GCC 3 etc but you have to chase around
afterwards and run post install scripts yourself.

I have the whole thing on my to do list.  That is a long list.  :-)
