It is a community based project with lots of people going in and out
the doors all the time.
I'm a permanent fixture bolted to the racks. :-)

As of this morning there are :

    Number of files: 17631
    Total file size: 15402804199 bytes

in the package repository there.

A lot of duplication of course across versions etc. Really there are
1,800 ( as of two days ago ) packages in the unstable tree and then
1,680 in the stable tree. Plenty to migrate and sync with an IPS repo
just as soon as I get the depotd process sorted out on
blastwave.network.com.

By the way, I just cleaned up a download mirror there thus :

    http://blastwave.network.com/OpenSolaris/index.html

That looks better than just two dumb files sitting in a directory,
which were downloaded 259 times in the past 48 hours or so.

anyways ... off I go to do many things .. like install the community
OpenSolaris build servers here.
