Hello,

I managed to solve this. The trick is to add the correct volume id, in this case "OpenSolaris-2008-05".

sudo mkisofs -d -D -J -l -R -U -allow-multidot -no-iso-translate -cache-inodes -b boot/grub/stage2_eltorito -no-emul-boot -boot-load-size 4 -boot-info-table -V "OpenSolaris-2008-05" -c .catalog -o image.iso .
