[indiana-discuss] Has anyone successfully upgraded from DP2?

For the past couple of days I've been dabbling with different methods of upgrading from DP2 to 200805 without success.  Each attempt results in an unusable system.  I've tried 2 primary methods:

- Using zfs snapshots according to the old upgrade approach from DP1 to DP2
- Installing SUNWipkg-gui and using the new packagemanager to do the upgrade


Sorry for no specific error messages, but the net result with using the packagemanager always ended in a system that wouldn't boot (sometimes wouldn't even allow me to enter into maintenance mode.

The zfs snapshot method typically permitted me to recover since I the image-upgrade always threw python errors and something about certain files didn't have expected users so I always destroyed the snapshots prior to rebooting.

Looking for any suggestions that others have had that worked for them.
