These sort of issues were foreseen. Blastwave has a GAR system in
place now with hundreds of software packages in the svn repo  ( see
http://svn.blastwave.org/trac/browser/csw/trunk ) then once the
OpenSolaris based build servers are in place it should become much
more easy to trigger a rebuild and kick out packages that are pure
OpenSolaris born and bred. Unless of course major source tweaks are
required.

Things like this, a postremove script, need to be addressed of course :

Works fine with Solaris 10 ... won't fly in the IPS world.

So .. there is work to do and I think ( wild guess ) that we have a
little over 600 packages in the GAR system now.
