Hi Ian,
Even if NWAM isn't poping up anything it's still back there trying
to run. To disable NWAM run "svcadm disable physical:nwam" to enable
legacy behavior run "svcadm enable physical:default" then you can try
running /bin/network-admin, or just use dladm(1) and ifconfig(1), if you
prefer.
Also maybe I just keep missing them, but what kind of network
devices do you have (i.e. what does "pfexec dladm show-dev" return)?
