Those of us in the desktop team would certainly like that to be the  
case, but AFAIK the logistics are still being worked out.

(It's unfortunate that the OpenSolaris 6-month release cycle now  
coincides quite closely with the GNOME community's 6-month release  
cycle, so it's going to be cutting it quite fine to get the latest and  
greatest GNOME into each new OpenSolaris release-- as you know, we  
erred on the side of caution with 2008.05, and went with 2.20.  But I  
think it's something we'd like to try and do going forward.)
