[indiana-discuss] Package Manager and proxy

The manager won't connect using a pac.
Maybe there should be something like apt.conf so I don't have to set an 
environment variable.
Also, even after setting the proxy thru the gnome interface, the only 
way I can get the package manager to reliably run through the proxy is 
to go to a command line, export the http_proxy variable and start 
package manager there.
