hi Damian,

The issue with braces and brackets being swapped in polish developer's
keyboard has been recently fixed and the fix will be integrated into
OpenSolaris.

http://bugs.opensolaris.org/view_bug.do?bug_id=6579263

We've updated the image corresponding to Polish Developers Keyboard
Layout according to your suggestion; please let us know if this image
correspond to the Polish keyboard layout that you are proposing:

btw.

A very simple way how to set Polish developers Keyboard Layout in
OpenSolaris without creating xorg.conf, is using setxkbmap:

$ setxkbmap -rules /usr/x11/lib/X11/xkb/rules/xorg pl_dev

I've tested it and it works fine, just braces and brackets are switched,
the rest works as expected.

Regarding to Input Methods (GIMLET):

Once I get confirmation from you that the keyboard layout from the image
is correct; I will fill a bug against IIIMF and will ask them to replace
default Polish keyboard layout with the one from the image.

Best Regards,
