GNOME 2.24.1 is the latest - but don't know if it'll be integrated into the
final OS2008.11 release. This is usually what I'd expect based on how the
OS2008.05 release was done.

As for audio, give 4front's OSS 4.x audio drivers a try (if you've installed OS2008.11-b100a).
