Just updated from snv_99 to snv_100a, and my Ultra 40 still hangs on 
boot, as it did with snv_99.  (It was hanging with

atapi_start_cmd: drive select failed

).  I have now found out that I can get this system to boot reliably if 
I have the original 200805 media in the machine, and select "Boot from 
disk" from the grub menu.  Hmm.
