The swapped German keys issue in b100 is a known bug; it was cause by migration of xkb data to separate "SUN" and "Community" standards of Keyboard Layout. The fix for this bug was already integrated into b101a.

If you do not want to upgrade from build 100 to build 101a; you can still solve the problem with the following workaround:

Edit the following file:

/usr/X11/lib/X11/xkb/symbols/sun/ge

by adding the following two lines at the bottom of the file (just before the last "};"):


   key <AD06> {        [               z,               Z      ]      };
   key <AB01> {        [               y,               Y      ]       };
