I have a 6150LE, here is some feedback:
I tired a few versions of 177.80 (older then the ones above) and found they
had the "Compiz bug" (the "Menu Title Bar" gets overwritten with garbage).
I tried Version: 180.06 http://www.nvidia.com/object/solaris_display_180.06.html
and it fixed that problem -- don't know about the fast reboot issue.
You might want to try the newest Driver and see if that helps.
