hello all,
here the app:
http://www.csm.ornl.gov/~kohl/MatView/
it needs tcl/tk. It compiles on OS2008.11, but it cores immediatly:

Abort (core dumped)

and it works without trouble on solaris 10 (sparc sun bundled gcc).

Can anyone test it? the app shows a matrix, if you need a matrix to test 
it, you can take:
ftp://math.nist.gov/pub/MatrixMarket2/Harwell-Boeing/platz/plat1919.mtx.gz
