Hi Jacob,

I understand your frustration, but if Solaris is so important to you, I 
recommend you ask in a forum for hardware which is known to work well and/or 
check the HCL http://www.sun.com/bigadmin/hcl/search.jsp before you buy new 
hardware next time.

My impression is that new and improved drivers are being contributed and 
integrated regularly, but, to be honest, I think right now you still need to 
choose the proper hardware for the OS you want to run, much like it was with 
Linux 10 years ago.
