[indiana-discuss] Opensolaris 2008.11 snv_99 on Asus Eee PC 1000h

Hi

Here are my observation while installing Indiana on a brandnew Eee PC:

-Issue with GM965 (see Release Notes/# 6696145), screens blinks several times after X is started, installation procedure just stops there.
-Resolution with vesa driver only 800x600 instead of 1024x600
-Trackpad does not work during install, works afterwards
-Eeepc 1000h comes with two partitions. If Opensolaris is installed on the second, you have to activate the partion (use e.g. gparted)
-Ralink 2860 (wireless) not supported by OpenSolaris (see CR 6732657)
-Atheros AR8121 (wired) => no drivers

My questions:
-Can anybody tell me if there is any work-around to get at least the vesa resolution up? What is the status of the intel drivers bug fix?
-Ralink support is very important
-Atheros support would be a plus
