[indiana-discuss] 100a in VMWare, "pfexec shutdown" command problem

Since I could not find the "shutdown" button from the menu, I opened a
terminal and did a "pfexec shutdown".

X exited, got a console screen that says

opensolaris console login: Dec 28 08:01:55 opensolaris sendmail[780]:
unable to qualify my own domain name (localhost) -- using short name
Dec 28 08:01:57 opensolaris sendmail[933]: My unqualified host name
(localhost) unknown; sleeping fro retry

Then the system just hanged there, alive.

This problem is reproducible in VMWare. I installed 100a in VMWare on
MBP. I gave a root password and created a normal user during
installation. I reboot the VM and login as a normal, then got into this.
