[indiana-discuss] 2008.11: firefox 3.0.1 cannot open pdf/odt files!

hello all,
i've installed firefox 3.0.1 from sun contributed build on mozilla 
website, but i have problems.
For example, on this site:

firefox said that it choose openoffice 2.4 to manage the file, then i 
got an error window:
"/tmp/Koha-2.2.9-on-OpenSolaris-2008-05-v0.96.odt couldn't be opened, 
because an unknown error occurred."

what i have to do is to start manually openoffice and open the file 
stored in /tmp. The same thing happens with evince!

Is it normal? In the preferences, there is nothing about pdf 
application, and there is no mean to add a new mime type
