Why don't you just install the FF-3.5.2 pkg from:
http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/3.5.2/contrib/solaris_pkgadd/firefox-3.5.2.en-US.opensolaris-i386-pkg.bz2

It works very well. All you have to do is (re)setting the path to
firefox in your menu. (or rename the one in /usr/bin)
