I did this and in fact, if I disable nwam, the machine is not able to mount my zfs pool.  Also, when I run in text mode it does not give any error. However, it is interesting that the new card is exported as wpi1 although I installed in the same location (it is a laptop).

The truth is that I did upgrade to b106. However, when I boot with old environments (b101b) it is not able to start either.
